European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Determination of Apparent Protein Molecular Weight in Solution by Diffusion Ordered NMR Spectroscopy

open access: yesChinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2018
Diffusion ordered NMR spectroscopy (DOSY) can be used to determine the apparent molecular weight of proteins (Mprotein) by measuring self-diffusion coefficient (Dt-protein).

Spin polarization contrast observed in GaAs by force-detected nuclear magnetic resonance

open access: yes, 2002
We applied the recently developed technique of force-detected nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to observe 71Ga, 69Ga, and 75As in GaAs. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time is 21$\pm$5 min for 69Ga at $\sim 5$ K and 4.6 Tesla.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Function and dynamics of the intrinsically disordered carboxyl terminus of β2 adrenergic receptor

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
Advances in structural biology have provided important mechanistic insights into signaling by the transmembrane core of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs); however, much less is known about intrinsically disordered regions such as the carboxyl terminus (

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Li-ion Battery [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging has high sensitivity to proton (1H) and lithium (7Li). It is a useful measurement for electrolyte in Li-ion battery. 1H NMR images of lithium ion battery which is composed of LiMn2O4 / LiClO4 + propylene carbonate

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Multimodal CT Imaging Characteristics in Predicting Prognosis of Wake-Up Stroke

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology, 2021
Background: Multimodal CT imaging can evaluate cerebral hemodynamics and stroke etiology, playing an important role in predicting prognosis. This study aimed to summarize the comprehensive image characteristics of wake-up stroke (WUS), and to explore its
