SF3A3 Drives Tumorigenesis in Endometrial Cancer by Enhancing c‐FOS Expression and Represents a Potential Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The role of splicing factor 3A subunit 3 (SF3A3) in driving endometrial cancer (EC) progression and potential therapeutic interventions. SF3A3, a core component of the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (U2 snRNP), is upregulated in endometrial cancer (EC) and promotes tumor growth and cisplatin resistance. RNA‐binding protein immunoprecipitation (RIP)

Brachyury‐Activated Fucoidan Hydrogel Microspheres Rejuvenate Degenerative Intervertebral Discs Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes the creation of injectable Brachyury (Bry) mRNA‐loaded Fucoidan‐functionalized GelMA hydrogel microspheres (BLNP@GF). These microspheres efficiently suppress inflammation, enhance extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis in degenerated nucleus pulposus cells, and mitigate intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) in rat models.

Bimetallic Plasmonic Nanozyme‐Based Microneedle for Synergistic Ferroptosis Therapy of Melanoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A microneedle (MN) patch that integrates novel bimetallic plasmonic nanozyme (BPNzyme) and traditional Chinese medicine β‐elemene (β‐ELE) has been rationally designed for ferroptosis pathway‐dependent combined therapy of melanoma. Abstract Melanoma is the most common malignant skin tumor, characterized by complexity, invasiveness, and heterogeneity ...

High‐Throughput Tiling of Essential mRNAs Increases Potency of Antisense Antibiotics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The systematic tiling of essential genes’ mRNA here presented, proposes a valuable tool for the identification of novel PNA sequences with antibiotic potential. The high‐throughput synthetic set up opens the door to investigating thousands of sequences in an economic way and ultimately identifies potent antisense oligonucleotides while also giving room
