Tuning Product Distribution in Plasma‐Activated Water by Modifying Reactor Design

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study systematically compares plasma‐activated water reactor configurations for nitrogen fixation, demonstrating that reactor design, catalyst inegration, and gas flow govern product selectivity. Slurry reactor favor nitrate formation, whereas needle system promote ammonium production.

Rhenium Complexes as Antimicrobial Agents

open access: yesHelvetica Chimica Acta, Volume 109, Issue 5, May 2026.
Rhenium complexes are stepping into the fight against superbugs. Our new review explores how these metallic complexes could inspire the next generation of antimicrobial therapies. ABSTRACT The escalating crisis of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) necessitates the exploration of unconventional therapeutic scaffolds.

Chitosan–Alginate Polyelectrolyte Systems: From Classical Release Models to the D‐PARMO Framework

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 5, May 2026.
Classical empirical models fail to predict the dynamic in vivo behavior of chitosan‐alginate nanocarriers. Bridging this translational gap, the novel D‐PARMO framework replaces purely descriptive curve‐fitting with a mechanistically informed operational model.

RNA Modifications: Current Understandings and Future Perspectives

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Types of RNA modification. We have summarized the currently common types of RNA modifications, including ac4C, m6A, m1A, m5C, m3C, m7G, and ψ, and visually characterized their features through structural formulas. The characteristic structures are marked with a background color different from the background color.
