Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

Molecular Adsorbing Host•Guest (MAHG) Crystals: A New Paradigm for Porous Materials?
Networking! Introduction of guest molecules in macrocycles before crystallization profoundly influences the material obtained in terms of structure and function. Beside simplicity and porous space improvement, this approach is endowed with a huge potential given the myriad of potential guest molecules that can be used to tune this burgeoning class of ...

Bio‐Inspired Synthesis of Macroporous Single Crystal Particles as Scattering Agents
A general strategy is presented that delivers unique, single‐crystal microparticles that combine submicron macroporosity and uniform particle shapes. A bioinspired approach is used to occlude three distinct types of additives – polystyrene microspheres, polymer vesicles and amino acids – within calcite single crystals, and subsequent thermal annealing ...

In the Midst of Madness: Mental Health Literacy as Null to Explicit Curriculum in Public Spaces
In the wake of school closings due to COVID-19, public agencies and media have been increasingly relegated to the role of educator across publics. The promotion of mental health literacy has moved from null curriculum to explicit, as public agencies have pushed the narrative of an unprecedented mental health crisis, despite the crisis having been ...

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...
