Simulation of Radio-Frequency Capacitive Discharge at Atmospheric Pressure in Argon [PDF]

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2016
A one-dimensional self-consistent model of capacitive coupled radio-frequency discharge between symmetrical electrodes in argon in the local approximation at atmospheric pressure is considered in this paper.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Effects Of Deforestation And Afforestation In The Central Part Of The East European Plain On Regional Weather Conditions

open access: yesGeography, Environment, Sustainability, 2019
Forest vegetation can affect the climate and weather patterns in multiple ways. What are the main mechanisms of such influence and how the land-use and vegetation changes may affect the weather and climate conditions in different geographical regions are

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
