Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Error analysis of QR algorithms for computing Lyapunov exponents [PDF]
Lyapunov exponents give valuable information about long term dynamics. The discrete and continuous QR algorithms are widely used numerical techniques for computing approximate Lyapunov exponents, although they are not yet supported by a general error ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Approximating the Stieltjes Integral for (φ, ф)-Lipschitzian Integrators and Applications
Approximations for the Stieltjes integral with (φ, ф)−Lipschitzian integrators are given. Applications for the Riemann integral of a product and for the generalised trapezoid and Ostrowski inequalities are also ...

One-stage exponential integrators for nonlinear Schr\uf6dinger equations over long times
Near-conservation over long times of the actions, of the energy, of the mass and of the momentum along the numerical solution of the cubic Schr\uf6dinger equation with small initial data is shown.

Discrete, Circulation-Preserving, and Stable Simplicial Fluids [PDF]
Visual quality, low computational cost, and numerical stability are foremost goals in computer animation. An important ingredient in achieving these goals is the conservation of fundamental motion invariants.

Poisson Integrators based on splitting method for Poisson systems
We propose Poisson integrators for the numerical integration of separable Poisson systems. We analyze three situations in which the Poisson systems are separated in three ways and the Poisson integrators can be constructed by using the splitting method ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
