A Novel Magnetic Update Operator for Quantum Evolutionary Algorithms
Quantum Evolutionary Algorithms (QEA) are novel algorithms proposed for class of combinatorial optimization problems. The probabilistic representation of possible solutions in QEA helps the q-individuals to represent all the search space simultaneously ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

An extension and numerical analysis of the Hohmann spiral transfer
This paper extends previous work on the Hohmann Transfer Spiral (HST) by introducing a plane change into the analysis. An analytical expression determining the critical specific impulse incorporating a plane change is derived for both a circular and ...

Differential Evolution with Enhanced Abilities for Adaptation Applied to Heterogeneous Numerical Optimization [PDF]
This article presents an exploration of Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm with enhanced adaptability. The main purpose of this study is to identify how this search method can cope with changes of the number of variables of a hard design test, unaided.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for
