Introducing Nutrition Education
Journal of School Health, 1981Nutrition education was introduced to three levels of junior high students in two local schools using a variety of methods and media. Instruction was preceded by a comprehensive examination to assess the present state of nutrition knowledge, and a similar examination followed the short‐term series.

Effects of nutrition education
Journal of the American Dietetic Association, 1981A group of 86 male myocardial infarction patients receiving diet therapy in the form of individual counseling and lectures or food-preparation classes and a group of 78 control subjects were studied. The desired changes in food and nutrient intake were greater in the treatment than in the control group.
