Herbivory‐Induced Stomatal Opening Triggers the Dispersal of an Invasive Insect Herbivore
The invasive leafminer Phthorimaea absoluta uniquely manipulates plant defenses by inducing stomatal opening in tomato. This response, mediated by the stomatal regulator IQM1, enhances the release of the repellent volatile benzaldehyde. This volatile triggers the dispersal of adult moths, facilitates colonization of new hosts, and leads to rapid ...

It has been shown that the gut and the brain are linked through a multimodal, bidirectional pathway called the gut-brain axis. In the gut-to-brain way, the gut microbiota has been shown to be the main regulator.

In vitro Reconstitution Assay of miRNA Biogenesis by Arabidopsis DCL1
microRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs, regulating most if not all, biological processes in eukaryotic organisms. miRNAs are initially processed from primary transcripts (pri-miRNAs) to produce miRNA precursors (pre-miRNAs), that are further ...

An interpretable, unsupervised artificial intelligence framework identifies a 13‐cellular morphometric biomarker (CMB) signature from routine H&E whole‐slide images. Validated across 2,602 patients, the fixed signature generalizes across colorectal, gastric, and esophageal tissues without retraining, stratifies prognosis and precancerous lesion risk ...

Characterization of the Usage of the Serine Metabolic Network in Human Cancer
The serine, glycine, one-carbon (SGOC) metabolic network is implicated in cancer pathogenesis, but its general functions are unknown. We carried out a computational reconstruction of the SGOC network and then characterized its expression across thousands

OAF Blocks SIAH1‐Mediated Degradation of SCPX, a Therapeutic Strategy for MASLD
This study shows OAF directly binds to SCPX and inhibits its interaction with the E3 ligase SIAH1, thereby protecting SCPX from ubiquitin‐dependent degradation and stabilizing its levels. This OAF‐SCPX axis represents a novel pathway in lipid homeostasis, highlighting OAF as a promising therapeutic candidate for MASLD.

Oligosaccharides with defined glycosidic bonds drive divergent gut microbial succession and shape unique metabolic profiles. Absolute time‐series profiling with Bayesian generalized Lotka–Volterra modeling identifies bond‐specific microbial responders, while monoculture validation and metaproteomics reveal linkage‐matched transport and cleavage modules.

Mesenchymal GSCs preferentially uptake palmitic acid, thereby promoting ZDHHC12‐mediated LDHA palmitoylation. This modification enhances LDHA enzymatic activity, drives glycolytic reprogramming, and facilitates exosomal LDHA‐mediated TAM regulation.
