My earliest distinct memory was of being taken at the age of 4 years into my father's medical office, which was in our home, and being weighed. I weighed 44 pounds—a number I can perhaps record as my earliest piece of nutritional research.

The Voice of the Nutritionist Judging by the reports in the popular press, it is easy to become a critic or "authority" on nutrition. People without, any scientific training are speaking as "authorities" on nutrition. Perhaps this is because everyone eats food so he feels that to some degree he must be knowledgeable about what kinds of food are needed?
