Recently, plastic gears with lower noise have been demanded for assembly in sound apparatuses. For this purpose, the use of plastics filled with plasticizers for gears has been attempted. when plasticizers are filled into plastics, the deformability increases; on the other hand, the strength and wear resistance decrease.

We present evidence suggesting that the Abrolhos Bank functions as key habitat for early life stages of Sphyrna mokarran. Kernel density estimation revealed spatially structured aggregations, with neonates and young‐of‐the‐year concentrated in shallow reef‐associated areas. Temporal variation in catch per unit effort (CPUE) indicated recruitment pulses

Research Study Concerning the Structural Design of a Drone Using 3D Print Technology
ABSTRACT The frame of a drone serves as support to hold in place all the key components of the drone, such as the battery, controller board, motors, and all the modules needed for different projects. In the industry, the drone frame is CNC machined from a block of material, or in some cases it is made of composite materials, carbon fiber, and ...

In the no lubricant operation, it is believed that a stainless steel gear, a brass gear and a cast iron gear are better applicable as the mating gears of nylon gears for rust prevention, than a carbon steel gear. But the abrasion of nylon gear when the nylon gear meshes with these gears is not clear, because these gears have been little used.

ABSTRACT Microplastic (MP) pollution is an ever‐growing issue in the marine ecosystem around the world. However, the study on MP pollution in marine fish remains limited, particularly those conducted in Eastern Sarawak, Malaysia. Hence, this study investigated the occurrence of MP on the marine fish, collected from local fish market in the city of Sibu

The first report stated that the nylon gear was available for use in power transmission. But nylon gear has a problem of abrasion. In this paper, confirming this abrasion, is investigated the dependency of abrasion on load and sliding velocity of tooth in nylon gear for power transmission which meshes with steel gear.
