Helping hands, flourishing hearts: A meta-analytic study of organizational citizenship behaviors and subjective well-being. [PDF]
Abstract Does going the extra mile at work enhance an employee's well‐being, or does it come with hidden costs? With these two diverging perspectives on the impact of Organizational Citizenship Behaviors (OCBs) on employee well‐being and inconclusive previous meta‐analytic findings, the current study provides a much‐needed update.

Real-World Performance of CSF Kappa Free Light Chains in the 2024 McDonald Criteria. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Objective Kappa free light chains (KFLCs) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) have a similar performance to CSF‐restricted oligoclonal bands (OCB) for multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. To help with implementation, we set out to resolve several remaining uncertainties: (1) performance in a real‐world cohort and the 2024 McDonald criteria; (2 ...

The Design and Evolution of OCB [PDF]
AbstractWe describe OCB3, the final version of OCB, a blockcipher mode for authenticated encryption (AE). We prove the construction secure, up to the birthday bound, assuming its underlying blockcipher is secure as a strong-PRP. We study the scheme’s software performance, comparing its speed, on multiple platforms, to a variety of other AE schemes.

On the Quantum Security of OCB
The OCB mode of operation for block ciphers has three variants, OCB1, OCB2 and OCB3. OCB1 and OCB3 can be used as secure authenticated encryption schemes whereas OCB2 has been shown to be classically insecure (Inoue et al., Crypto 2019). Even further, in the presence of quantum queries to the encryption functionality, a series of works by Kaplan et al.

Case Report: Ictal Central Apnea as First and Overlooked Symptom in Temporal Lobe Seizures
Ictal respiratory changes have been mainly described following generalized tonic-clonic seizures and recently considered to be a biomarker to assess the risk of sudden unexplained death in epilepsy (SUDEP).
