Cyclic distribution and ordering of occurrence of prime and composite numbers

open access: yes, 2023
Abstract This paper presents a simple analytical method for identifying prime numbers and determining composite numbers. It has been shown that the primes are ordered and all are placed on 96 half-lines. One linear equation and 8 numbers are enough for all calculations.

Organic mulching modulated native populations of entomopathogenic nematode in vineyard soils differently depending on its potential to control outgrowth of their natural enemies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) are biological control agents that are widespread in crop soils. However, traditional agricultural management practices such as cultivation and agrochemical usage can alter the soil balance that enables their ...

Incorporating plant community structure in species distribution modelling: a species co-occurrence based composite approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Species distribution models (SDM) with remotely sensed (RS) imagery is widely used in ecological studies and conservation planning, and the performance is frequently limited by factors including small plant size, small numbers of observations, and ...

Impact of vineyard ground cover management on the occurrence and activity of entomopathogenic nematodes and associated soil organisms

open access: yes, 2020
Viticulture is a valuable sector worldwide with an extraordinary socio-economic impact in Spain. Numerous pests and diseases threaten vineyards, and their management primarily relies on the use of conventional agrochemicals.

SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYSIS OF OSCILLATING ALGOL-TYPE SYSTEMS

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2010
We analyze time-series of highresolution spectra of RZCas, one of the brightest Algoltype stars where the primary shows δ Sct-like oscillations. Our inverstigation uses a variety of methods like the KOREL program to derive the orbital solution and ...

Time Toxicity in Wilms Tumor: Quantifying the Burden of Healthcare Interaction in the First Year After Diagnosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Wilms tumor (WT) treatment imposes a significant time burden on patients and their families. Time toxicity is a patient‐centered metric that quantifies the burden of healthcare interaction. We sought to define time toxicity in the first year after diagnosis of WT and hypothesized that it would increase as tumor stage and treatment ...
