Epoxidation of Cashmeran and Unprecedented Rearrangement to an α‐Carbonyl δ‐Spirolactone
A new strategy enables diastereoselective conversion of Cashmeran into a previously unknown α‐carbonyl δ‐spirolactone via epoxidation, Baeyer–Villiger oxidation, and acid‐catalyzed rearrangement.
