The Impact of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) Supplementation on Diabetes and Obesity Biomarkers in Type 2 Diabetes Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Conflicting results have been reported regarding the effects of okra on diabetes biomarkers in patients with type 2 diabetes. These inconsistencies may stem from factors such as dosage, intervention duration, and study design. To address these discrepancies, this systematic review and meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was ...

Thermal Characteristics of Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus) Fibers Obtained via Water- and Dew-Retting [PDF]
In this study, fibers were extracted from different parts of the okra plant (Abelmoschus esculentus) via water- and dew-retting methods. The fibers were subjected to physical and thermal analyses. The fibers obtained from the upper part of the okra plant show higher breaking strength and lower linear density. Fibers obtained via water-retting exhibited
