Journal of Lipid Mediators and Cell Signalling, 1997 The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of oleic acid (OA) on intracellular Ca2+ mobilization in human platelets. When applied extracellularly, OA produced a concentration dependent rise in cytosolic [Ca2+] ([Ca2+]cyt) when extracellular [Ca2+] (Ca2+]ext) was zero (presence of EGTA), suggesting that OA caused an intracellular release of Ca2+

Advanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.A wet ball‐milling method is presented to synthesize iron magnetic nanoparticles and evaluate their magnetic hyperthermia performance. Optimized particles (∼270 nm, Ms ∼114 emu/g) achieve ∼50°C heating under clinically safe alternating magnetic fields, while pulsed‐field operation enables controlled temperature regulation (∼30°C).
