Sharp L^1 Poincare inequalities correspond to optimal hypersurface cuts [PDF]
Let $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n$ be a convex. If $u: \Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}$ has mean 0, then we have the classical Poincar\'{e} inequality $$ \|u \|_{L^p} \leq c_p \mbox{diam}(\Omega) \| \nabla u \|_{L^p}$$ with sharp constants $c_2 = 1/\pi ...

On the best constant in {G}affney inequality
We discuss the value of the best constant in Gaffney inequality namely $$ \lVert \nabla \omega \rVert_{L^{2}}^{2}\leq C\left( \lVert d\omega\rVert_{L^{2}}^{2}+\lVert \delta\omega\rVert_{L^{2}% }^{2}+\lVert \omega\rVert_{L^{2}}^{2}\right) $$ when either

Isoperimetric and stable sets for log-concave perturbations of Gaussian measures
Let $\Omega$ be an open half-space or slab in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ endowed with a perturbation of the Gaussian measure of the form $f(p):=\exp(\omega(p)-c|p|^2)$, where $c>0$ and $\omega$ is a smooth concave function depending only on the signed distance ...

3D‐Printed Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Sensors Based on Self Compliant Springs
This work explores 3D‐printed GMR sensors utilizing self‐compliant spring structures and conductive PLA composites. By optimizing arm width, we achieved high piezoresistive (0.34%/mm) and magnetoresistive (0.77%/mT) sensitivities. Demonstrated through Bluetooth‐integrated pressure and magnetic position sensing, these full printed low‐cost, customizable

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

A combined finite element and phase‐field approach predicts the evolution of microstructure during the directional solidification of Ni‐based superalloys. The model reveals how withdrawal rate, temperature gradient, and wall thickness control the dendrite spacing, highlighting the strong effect of surface regions in thin sections where dendrite growth ...

Pseudoscalar production at omega omega threshold in J/psi -> gamma omega omega
The decay channel J/ ->gamma omega omega, omega -> pi+ pi- pi0 is analyzed using a sample of 5.8x10^7 J/psi events collected with the BESII detector. The omega omega invariant mass distribution peaks at 1.76 GeV/c^2, just above the omega omega threshold.
