Article, see p 1158 Great strides have been made in dissecting the genetics of cardiovascular disease (CVD) through genome-wide association studies and whole exome/genome sequencing, although the full heritability remains to be elucidated. Furthermore, biological insights into the associations of common variants with complex traits are often lacking.

Network-based integration of multi-omics data for clinical outcome prediction in neuroblastoma
Multi-omics data are increasingly being gathered for investigations of complex diseases such as cancer. However, high dimensionality, small sample size, and heterogeneity of different omics types pose huge challenges to integrated analysis. In this paper,

Omics and Integrated Omics for the Promotion of Food and Nutrition Science
Transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics are three major platforms of comprehensive omics analysis in the science of food and complementary medicine. Other omics disciplines, including those of epigenetics and microRNA, are matters of increasing concern. The increased use of the omics approach in food science owes much to the recent advancement of

Integrated Omics of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer [PDF]
We integrate the genomics, proteomics, and phosphoproteomics of 480 clinical tissues from 146 patients in a Chinese colorectal cancer (CRC) cohort, among which 70 had metastatic CRC (mCRC). Proteomic profiling differentiates three CRC subtypes characterized by distinct clinical prognosis and molecular signatures.
