Exact time-dependent density functional theory for impurity models

open access: yes, 2012
We employ the density matrix renormalization group to construct the exact time-dependent exchange correlation potential for an impurity model with an applied transport voltage.

Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.

Resonant transport through midgap states in voltage-biased Josephson junctions of d-wave superconductors

open access: yes, 1998
We study theoretically the ac Josephson effect in voltage biased planar junctions of d-wave superconductors. For some orientations of the superconductors a current peak is found at finite voltage in the current-voltage characteristics.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

A non‐isolated high step‐up DC–DC converter using magnetic coupling and voltage multiplier circuit

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2021
This paper introduces a new DC–DC structure with a high voltage gain. The proposed structure can achieve higher voltage gain by using magnetic coupling and voltage multiplier circuit (VMC).

Pulmonary Dysfunction Is Associated With Sleep Study Abnormalities in Children With Sickle Cell Disease: A Multicenter Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...

Dynamics of surface charge and electric field distributions on basin-type insulator in GIS/GIL due to voltage polarity reversal

open access: yesHigh Voltage, 2020
In this study, a simulation model of surface charge accumulation has been established. The model considers three accumulation ways, i.e. electrical conduction within the gas, through insulator volume and along the insulator surface.

Financial Burden Associated With Hospitalisation Among Families of Childhood Brain Tumours in Australia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
