Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry, 2018Sustained generation of extracellular superoxide anions by membrane-associated NADPH oxidase-1 is a hallmark of malignant transformation. The resulting H2O2 drives the proliferation of malignant cells and is converted to HOCl by a Dual oxidase-related peroxidase domain that acts analogously to myeloperoxidase.

Stochastic theory of oncogenesis.
Anticancer research, 1990It is generally agreed that most malignancies, particularly those that arise "spontaneously", are caused by randomly occurring mutations at specific sites of the genome. Hence oncogenesis of these spontaneous tumors can be described by stochastic mathematical models. In this paper we offer a mathematical approach to oncogenesis.
