Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.The pursuit‐evasion game is studied for two adversarial active agents, modeled as deterministic self‐steering pursuer and stochastic, cognitive evader. For a successful evasion strategy, the motile target has to exploit all available pursuer information, e.g., by tuning the tumbling frequency with the pursuer distance.

A Novel Milli‐Scale Magnetic Robot Exploiting Rotation for Controlled Magnetic Particles Release
Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.Delivering magnetic particles can become a game changer in minimally invasive medicine. To cope with this challenge, a magnetically actuated milli‐scale carrier leveraging rotation to perform on‐demand tunable release of magnetic particles across multiple release events is presented.

Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.This study proposes a deep learning approach to evaluate the fatigue crack behavior in metals under overload conditions. Using digital image correlation to capture the strain near crack tips, convolutional neural networks classify crack states as normal, overload, or recovery, and accurately predict fatigue parameters.
