In this paper, we provide some interested operator inequalities related with non-negative linear maps by means of concavity and convexity structure, and also establish some new attractive inequalities for the Khatri–Rao products of two or more positive ...

IDENTIFICATION OF INCONVENIENCES AT TRANSPORT OPERATORS’ WORKPLACES [PDF]
This article presents the results of a pilot survey of 300 transport operators, such as drivers, train drivers, and rescue workers. The surveys were conducted online using a Google form based on the Computer-Assisted Web Interview (CAWI) method.

Operator inequalities among arithmetic mean, geometric mean and harmonic mean [PDF]
We give an upper bound for the weighted geometric mean using the weighted arithmetic mean and the weighted harmonic mean. We also give a lower bound for the weighted geometric mean. These inequalities are proven for two invertible positive operators.

Phase Operator Problem and Macroscopic Extension of Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
To find the Hermitian phase operatorof a single-mode electromagnetic field in quantum mechanics, the Schroedinger representation is extended to a larger Hilbert space augmented by states with infinite excitation by nonstandard analysis.

Study of Dynamic Solutions for Human–Machine System with Human Error and Common-Cause Failure
This work investigates a dynamic solution of human–machine systems with human error and common-cause failure. By means of functional analysis, it is proved that the semigroup generated by the underlying operator converges exponentially to a projection ...

Mean Li-Yorke chaos in Banach spaces [PDF]
We investigate the notion of mean Li-Yorke chaos for operators on Banach spaces. We show that it differs from the notion of distributional chaos of type 2, contrary to what happens in the context of topological dynamics on compact metric spaces. We prove that an operator is mean Li-Yorke chaotic if and only if it has an absolutely mean irregular vector.

The operational meaning of maturity criteria [PDF]
AbstractThe fact that specific radiographic criteria represent different proportions of attained maturity in males and females, in individuals of different geographical origin, in undernourished as opposed to over‐nourished subjects and in genetic or chromosomal extremes together indicates the operational complexity of “skeletal maturity” and indicates

An enhanced differential surface admittance operator for the signal integrity modeling of interconnects [PDF]
A new, enhanced formulation of the 3-D differential surface admittance operator is presented in this contribution. By employing closed expressions for the sums of the infinite series that arise from discretizing the operator by means of entire domain ...

A New Class of Operator Monotone Functions via Operator Means
In this paper, we obtain a new class of functions, which is developed via the Hermite--Hadamard inequality for convex functions. The well-known one-one correspondence between the class of operator monotone functions and operator connections declares that

G(2)-Calogero-Moser Lax operators from reduction [PDF]
We construct a Lax operator for the $G_2$-Calogero-Moser model by means of a double reduction procedure. In the first reduction step we reduce the $A_6$-model to a $B_3$-model with the help of an embedding of the $B_3$-root system into the $A_6$-root ...
