OPG: an optimizing parser generator
ACM SIGPLAN Notices, 1988A source program-target program pair is to a compiler as a grammar-parser pair is to a parser generator. This analogy reflects the belief that because optimizing compilers exist, optimizing parser generators should exist. This paper shows that they do exist, and how one was constructed.

Age and gender predict OPG level and OPG/sRANKL ratio in maintenance hemodialysis patients
Advances in Medical Sciences, 2013Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a major cause of death among chronic hemodialysis (HD) patients. Gender and age belong to its classical risk factors. OPG/RANK/sRANKL (Osteoprotegerin/ Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κB/ soluble Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κB Ligand) axis constitute a system connecting bone and vascular remodeling. We aimed

The discovery of osteoprotegerin (OPG), osteoprotegerin ligand (OPGL), and RANK has elucidated the mechanism by which osteoblasts and stromal cells regulate osteoclastic differentiation and function and mediate the effects exerted by other hormones and cytokines. We have investigated the effects of these novel cytokines on the preosteoclastic cell line

Discovery of the RANKL/RANK/OPG system
Journal of Bone and Mineral Metabolism, 2021Almost a quarter century has passed since discovery of receptor activator of NF-κB ligand (RANKL). This discovery had a major impact on identification of mechanisms regulating osteoclast differentiation and function, establishment of a research field bridging bone and the immune system (osteoimmunology), and development of a fully human anti-RANKL ...

Serum RANKL, osteoprotegerin (OPG) and RANKL/OPG ratio in children with systemic lupus erythematosus
Lupus, 2019Background Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients have lower bone mineral density (BMD) compared with healthy individuals because of general, genetic, disease and medication-related factors. The disturbance of the receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL)/osteoprotegerin (OPG) ratio has been ...

Technical Digest. Summaries of Papers Presented at the Quantum Electronics and Laser Science Conference, 2003
Summary form only given. During the late 1990s the properties of non-diffracting (Bessel) light beams are under extensive consideration. Attractive applications of non-diffracting beams are feasible in the field of nonlinear optics. We have demonstrated the new approach to generate diffraction limited parametric superfluorescence in nonlinear crystal ...

SIZE PROGRESSION OF OXYGENIC PHOTOGRANULES (OPGs) AND ITS EFFECT ON OPG WASTEWATER TREATMENT
2022In recent years, the oxygenic photogranule (OPG) process has gained increasing interest because of its potential to treat wastewater without supplemental aeration. Oxygenic photogranules (OPGs) are dense spherical aggregates comprised of phototrophic and nonphototrophic microorganisms.

Circulating RANKL/OPG in polymyalgia rheumatica.
Clinical and experimental rheumatology, 2007To evaluate whether RANKL/OPG balance is modified in PMR patients, either in the active phase of the disease or during corticosteroid treatment.Circulating levels of RANKL and OPG were assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in PMR patients with active untreated disease and in patients treated by corticosteroids over a 12-month follow-up period. We
