Pathogenesis Study of Glioma: From Glioma Stem Cells, Genomic Tags, to Rodent Models [PDF]
Despite the past two decades of research progress, glioma still remains the most challenging of all primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors. The complexity of its pathogenesis makes the disease hard to deal with, especially glioblastoma multiforme ...

Differential utilization of ketone bodies by neurons and glioma cell lines: a rationale for ketogenic diet as experimental glioma therapy [PDF]
Background: Even in the presence of oxygen, malignant cells often highly depend on glycolysis for energy generation, a phenomenon known as the Warburg effect.

PEDIATRIC OPTIC PATHWAY GLIOMA: DIENCEPHALIC SYNDROME
Diencephalic cachexia (DC ) is a metabolic disorder characterized by a decrease in body weight. DC usually occurs in the presence of glioma brain tumors extended into the optic pathway.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
