Reflection from a free carrier front via an intraband indirect photonic transition
Here the authors present an experimental demonstration of a free carrier front induced intraband indirect photonic transition and show how the waveguide dispersion can be exploited to decrease the required free carrier concentration for substantial ...

LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Ultrathin photonic–plasmonic membranes supporting high-Q hybrid bound states in the continuum
Plasmonic bound states in the continuum (BICs) offer a promising route to overcome the intrinsic trade-off between field confinement and radiation loss in nanophotonic systems.

Pharmacological chromatin remodeling enhances response to estrogen therapy in ER+ breast cancer
Estrogen therapy elicits clinical benefit in ~ 30% of patients with endocrine‐resistant estrogen receptor (ER)‐positive breast cancer. Based on findings that ER transcriptional activation underlies response to estrogen therapy, we tested the effects of epigenetic dysregulation via pharmacological inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACi).

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Rapid homoepitaxial growth of (011) β-Ga2O3 by HCl-based halide vapor phase epitaxy
We demonstrated rapid homoepitaxial growth on (011) β-Ga2O3 substrates using HCl-based halide vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE), in which GaCl was synthesized by reacting metallic Ga with HCl gas, and examined properties of the resulting layer.
