Nonlinear optical rectification and electronic structure in asymmetric coupled quantum wires
Asymmetric coupled quantum wires provide the possibility for realizing obvious nonlinear optical rectification due to breaking the inversion symmetry. Here, we investigated nonlinear optical rectification (NOR) and electronic states in asymmetric coupled

Dynamic 3D scene depth reconstruction via optical flow field rectification. [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a depth propagation scheme based on optical flow field rectification towards more accurate depth reconstruction. In depth reconstruction, the occlusions and low-textural regions easily result in optical flow field errors, which ...

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

The Study of Two-order Nonlinear Optical Properties in Semiparabolic Quantum Well
Studies aimed at understanding the nonlinear optical properties of GaAs/AlGaAs semiparabolic quantum well under applied electric have focused on optical rectification and second harmonic generation. These studies have taken two complimentary approaches: (

We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

Efficient Cherenkov-Type Optical-to-Terahertz Conversion of Femtosecond Oscillator Pulses
We demonstrate experimentally that a recently proposed structure comprising a tens of microns thick layer of LiNbO3 sandwiched between two totally reflecting Si prisms can serve as an efficient Cherenkov-type optical-to-terahertz converter of femtosecond

Terahertz generation from surface of the bulk and monolayer tungsten diselenide
The study of ultrafast laser interaction with graphene-like materials based on transition metal dichalcogenides attracts most scientific groups. It is connected with potential use of these materials in flexible optoelectronic devices of visible and THz ...
