Optimization of the Approximate Integration Formula Using the Quadrature Formula
The article explores Sard’s problem of constructing optimal quadrature formulas in the space W(4,0)2(0,1) by using Sobolev’s method. This problem involves two steps: first, calculating the norm of the error functional, and then finding the minimum of this norm by the coefficients of the quadrature formulas.

Optimal quadrature formulae on the real line
Quadrature formulas with equidistant nodes on the real line, involving a sequence of derivatives are treated. In this class, an optimal quadrature formula is obtained for the Sobolev space of functions with an additional restriction on its Fourier transforms. An explicit expression for the error is given.

Error Analysis for Semilinear Stochastic Subdiffusion with Integrated Fractional Gaussian Noise
We analyze the error estimates of a fully discrete scheme for solving a semilinear stochastic subdiffusion problem driven by integrated fractional Gaussian noise with a Hurst parameter H∈(0,1).

Optimal designs for 3D shape analysis with spherical harmonic descriptors [PDF]
We determine optimal designs for some regression models which are frequently used for describing 3D shapes. These models are based on a Fourier expansion of a function defined on the unit sphere in terms of spherical harmonic basis functions.
