Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Optimality Theory and the Minimalist Program
In this paper I argue that an OT-approach to grammar is actually essential to minimalist investigations, because it dramatically widens the set of linguistic properties potentially reducible to interface conditions while at the same time dispensing with ...

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Features in Optimality Theory: A Computational Model
This dissertation presents a computational model of Optimality Theory (OT) (Prince and Smolensky 1993). The model provides an efficient solution to the problem of candidate generation and evaluation, and is demonstrated for the realm of phonological ...

Sparse model identification using orthogonal forward regression with basis pursuit and D-optimality [PDF]
An efficient model identification algorithm for a large class of linear-in-the-parameters models is introduced that simultaneously optimises the model approximation ability, sparsity and robustness. The derived model parameters in each forward regression

GIS and AHP based modeling for landfill site selection (case study: west side of Mosul city)
The accumulation of large quantities of solid waste inside Mosul city becomes a real residential and municipal management problem. There are many reasons including the existence of unplanned dumping sites within the city boundaries, and the absence of ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

First order optimality condition for constrained set-valued optimization [PDF]
A constrained optimization problem with set-valued data is considered. Different kind of solutions are defined for such a problem. We recall weak minimizer, efficient minimizer and proper minimizer.

The Learnability of Optimality Theory: An Algorithm and Some Basic Complexity Results
If Optimality Theory (Prince & Smolensky 1991, 1993) is correct, Universal Grammar provides a set of universal constraints which are highly general, inherently conflicting, and consequently rampantly violated in the surface forms of languages. A language’
