Optimal design of the long-term LEO almanac by considering the atmosphere drag effects
Almanac is an elegant design to help Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) signal acquisition, which has been adopted by all global satellite navigation systems. For the future low Earth orbit (LEO) navigation constellation, the almanac will be more

Edge binding of sine-Gordon solitons in spin-orbit coupled Bose-Einstein condensates
In recent experiments with ultracold gases a Raman coupling scheme is used to produce both spin-orbit (SO) and Zeeman-type couplings [Y.-J. Lin et al., Nature 471, 83 (2011)]. Their competition drives a phase transition to a magnetized state with broken $

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Prediction and reconstruction of on-orbit acceleration [PDF]
As the number of acceleration sensitive experiments to be carried on each Shuttle or Space Station mission increases, the requirement for either low-g environment or for accelerometry at each experiment location also increases. Preflight planning of such

Probing gravitation with pulsars
Radio pulsars are fascinating and extremely useful objects. Despite our on-going difficulties in understanding the details of their emission physics, they can be used as precise cosmic clocks in a wide-range of experiments -- in particular for probing ...

Predicting Cislunar Orbit Lifetimes from Initial Orbital Elements
Cislunar space is the volume between Earth's geosynchronous orbit and beyond the Moon, including the lunar Lagrange points. Understanding the stability of orbits within this space is crucial for the successful planning and execution of space missions. Orbits in cislunar space are influenced by the gravitational forces of the Sun, Earth, Moon, and other

Orbit Predictions for CHAMP — Development and Status
Accurate CHAMP orbit predictions labelled as the PreDicted Science Orbit (PDO) are generated on a sub-daily basis by an automated processor in particular to support the operations of the ground station network of the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS).

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox
