Interferon beta drives therapy resistance in a patient‐derived model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Interferon type 1 (IFN‐1) production and signaling is associated with the acquisition of therapy resistance, following chronic DNA damage, via Interferon‐related DNA damage resistance signature (IRDS) gene expression. An alternative, DNA damage‐independent role of sustained IFN‐1 mediated resistance was identified and characterized by the emergence of ...

Continuity of order-preserving functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
summary:Let the spaces $\bold R^m$ and $\bold R^n$ be ordered by cones $P$ and $Q$ respectively, let $A$ be a nonempty subset of $\bold R^m$, and let $f:A\longrightarrow \bold R^n$ be an order-preserving function. Suppose that $P$ is generating in $\bold

Whitney preserving functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The notion of being a Whitney preserving map is introduced. Conditions are given on a space X in order that a Whitney preserving function f from X to the unit interval is a ...

PANoptosis in the pathogenesis of myelodysplastic syndromes

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PANoptosis, a combination of three types of programmed cell death, is mediated by a large protein complex called a PANoptosome. In healthy bone marrow hematopoietic cells, PANoptosis is restricted by inhibitory signaling. In MDS, bone marrow cells become sensitive to the PANoptotic stimuli due to the aberrant inactivation of inhibitory signaling or ...

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

On Airy Solutions of the Second Painleve Equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we discuss Airy solutions of the second Painleve equation and two related equations, the Painleve XXXIV equation and the Jimbo-Miwa-Okamoto sigma form of second Painleve equation, are discussed.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Some Characterizations of Riesz Valued Sequence Spaces generated by an Order ϕ-Function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, we introduce an order φ-function on a Riesz space. Further, we construct a Riesz valued sequence spaces by using the φ-function and obtain the condition to characterize these ...

Low-SNR Image Noise Removal on Local Edge-Preserving Function

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2009
:Traditional noise removal arithmetic required that the signal-noise-ratio of the image is high, noise removed image by the traditional noise removal arithmetic loss large amounts of edge and texture information in the image.
