Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Identification of ubiquitination-related signature genes for predicting kidney transplant rejection
Kidney transplant rejection (KTR) poses significant challenges to long-term graft survival, with involvement from ubiquitination-related genes (URGs) in immune modulation. This study aimed to identify key URGs linked to KTR and develop a predictive model

Cryopreservation of a whole liver [PDF]
Preservation of vascularized organs such as the liver is limited to 24hrs. before destructive processes disqualify it for transplantation. This narrow time window prevents surgeons from performing optimal pathogen screening and matching tests which often
