1D and 3D Carbon Nanomaterials Derived from Zeolite‐Based Catalysts: Synthesis and Applications

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
Zeolites act as catalysts or catalytic templates to synthesize 1D and 3D carbon nanomaterials with uniform structures, enabled by their high surface area and uniform porous frameworks. The resulting carbon nanomaterials possess excellent surface area and electronic conductivity, supporting their use in energy storage, catalysis, electronics, gas ...

Amido‐Imidazolin‐2‐imine Zinc Complexes: Facile Preparation by Mild In Situ Deprotonation

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
A representative amino‐imidazolin‐2‐imine ligand enables the preparation of stable zinc N,N´‐chelate complexes via in situ deprotonation. This mild method generates only volatile side products and affords both zinc(I) and zinc(II) complexes in good yield and high purity.

From Heterocubane Units to Extended Networks: Synthesis, Structure, and Optical Properties of Pb9O2I8(CN2)3 and Pb16O5I14(CN2)4

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
Two air‐stable, photoluminescent lead oxide iodide carbodiimides, Pb9O2I8(CN2)3 and Pb16O5I14(CN2)4, were synthesized via solid‐state methods and structurally characterized, revealing heterocubane‐type units interconnected by iodide and (NCN)2‐ ligands.
