Evaluation of intravenous lipid emulsion as a novel therapeutic antidote in severe organophosphorous poisoning- A prospective randomized, comparative study [PDF]

open access: yesAl Ameen Journal of Medical Sciences, 2019
Background: Organophosphorus compounds are usually esters, amides or thiol derivatives of phosphonic acid and form a large family (>50000 compounds). The principal use of these compounds are as pesticides in agriculture, mainly as insecticides.

Photoinduced Free‐Radical Preparation of Bis‐Phosphonates and Bis‐Phosphinates from Alkynes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 2, January 16, 2026.
A simple procedure for the double hydrophospho(i)nylation of terminal alkynes, using photoinduced organic radical chemistry, is reported in order to access bisphosphonates and bisphosphinates. The reaction is carried out in air without any metal catalyst or ligand.

Enzyme Immobilization by Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Framework for the Construction of Plant‐Wearable Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
By modulating the charge of acetylcholinesterase, it is encapsulated within HOF materials, thereby enhancing its stability and maintaining its activity. Subsequently, the composite material is embedded in a glycerol‐sodium alginate gel, achieving the long‐term monitoring of pesticides.
