A 3D Human Bone and Bone Marrow‐on‐a‐Chip Model for In Vitro Bone Remodeling and Immune Cell Maintenance

This study presents a human Bone (and Bone Marrow)‐on‐a‐Chip model based on native human bone scaffolds and autologous cells. Dynamic perfusion and sequential cell seeding replicate the physiological bone remodeling process in vitro, enabling the long‐term culture of functional, mature bone marrow immune subpopulations.

Clinical Significance of PD‐L1 and HLA Expression in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Response to Immunotherapy

This study evaluated immune‐related biomarkers in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors after postoperative recurrence. PD‐L1 expression in tumor‐associated macrophages and tumor cells, together with HLA class I downregulation and HLA‐DR expression, were associated with favorable responses to immunotherapy.

Acupuncture Attenuates Neuroinflammation Following Acute Cerebral Infarction by Downregulating SPP1 to Ameliorate Immunological Niches

The study workflow and key mechanistic findings are illustrated. In cohort 1, serum samples from acute cerebral infarction (ACI) patients and healthy controls were screened using proteomics to identify differentially expressed proteins. In cohort 2, the therapeutic effects of acupuncture on ACI were further validated.
