Can the localization ratio be considered as a resilience indicator in the supply chain?

open access: yesInternational Transactions in Operational Research, Volume 33, Issue 6, Page 3698-3713, November 2026.
Abstract Supply chain resilience is concerned with establishing disruption‐resistant operational practices and ensuring the achievement of some planned performance responding to shocks. Thus, resilience is both a quality and a quantity. The existing literature is rich in analyzing each of these two parts separately. However, studies connecting quantity

Synthesis of Quinolines and Tetrahydroquinolines From Aromatic Propargylamines via Activator‐Free Gold Catalysis in Hexafluoroisopropanol

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 13, 2 July 2026.
A straightforward, gold‐catalyzed cycloisomerization of aromatic propargylamines is reported, enabling efficient access to quinoline and tetrahydroquinoline derivatives. Hexafluoroisopropanol acts as both solvent and activator, eliminating the need for silver salts or additives.

Survival Outcomes and Complications Among Canadian Children With Retinoblastoma: A Population‐Based Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 73, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Bottlenecks‐Breaking in Zinc‐Iodine Batteries Toward Practical Implementation: A Review and Perspective

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
Aqueous zinc–iodine batteries (Zn–I2Bs) offer promise for grid storage due to safety and cost advantages yet face critical bottlenecks: severe self‐discharge (polyiodide shuttling and HER), limited energy density, sluggish kinetics, and zinc anode instability.

Visible Light or Brønsted Acid Promoted Oxygenation of a PdBn(NNP(O)) Complex

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 24, 23 June 2026.
A benzylpalladium complex with a tridentate NNP ligand containing 2,2′‐bipyridine and a phosphoryl moiety [PdBn(MeNNP(O))] reacted readily with O2 to afford an O2‐inserted complex. The insertion was accelerated using ambient light. By contrast, the reaction with O2 under blue LED irradiation afforded PhCHO as the major oxygenated product.
