Stabilizing Magnesium Anodes in Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries via Fluorinated Cyclic Ether Electrolyte Additive

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 16, Issue 18, 13 May 2026.
A fluorinated cyclic ether, FDOL, is shown to stabilize Mg metal anodes by tuning Mg2+ solvation of the G2 electrolyte. The G2‐FDOL electrolyte suppresses passivation and thick, diffusion‐blocking Mg deposits, enabling more uniform Mg plating/stripping and sustained interfacial reactions.

DCT-Based OTFS With Reduced PAPR

IEEE Communications Letters
In this letter, we devise a discrete cosine transform (DCT)-based orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS), offering reduced peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and lower complexity without compromising on bit error rate (BER) performance.

Learning to Equalize OTFS

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2022
Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) is a novel framework that processes modulation symbols via a time-independent channel characterized by the delay-Doppler domain. The conventional waveform, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), requires tracking frequency selective fading channels over the time, whereas OTFS benefits from full time ...

Effective Diversity of OTFS Modulation [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2020
Orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation, which encodes information symbols in the delay–Doppler domain, offers a promising solution to the problem of high Doppler sensitivity of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission.

Mitigating Spatial Correlation in MIMO-OTFS

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology
In this article, we present an in-depth analysis of whitening methods for mitigating the spatial correlation in a multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal time frequency space (MIMO-OTFS) system.

A Unifying View of OTFS and Its Many Variants [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials
High mobility environment leads to severe Doppler effects and poses serious challenges to the conventional physical layer based on the widely popular orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).
