Highly Efficient Mechanochromic Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence in the Deep Red to Near‐Infrared in Copper(I) [2.2]Isoindolinophanyl‐Carbene Carbazolates

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Electrophilic [2.2]isoindolinophanyl‐based carbene iPC has been employed as charge‐transfer acceptor ligand in a series of [Cu(iPC)(carbazolate)], which show mechanochromism and environment‐dependent luminescence due to intermolecular C─‐H‐π interactions.

Doppler Delay-Time Frequency Cross-Domain Joint High Security Transmission Scheme Based on Orthogonal Time Frequency Space

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2023
A doppler delay-time frequency (DD-TF) cross-domain high-security transmission scheme based on orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) is proposed, which is compatible with high-speed and large-capacity optical transmission systems.

Solvation‐Mediated Shift From Solvent‐ to Anion‐Derived Solid Electrolyte Interphases for Stable Calcium Metal Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An ion‐dipole interaction based strategy is proposed to capture thermodynamically unstable solvents and restructure the coordination environment of calcium ions by introducing ionic liquid co‐solvents, thus suppressing excessive solvent decomposition. Therefore, a smooth and dense solid‐electrolyte interphase dominated by inorganic components is formed

Solvent‐Induced Covalent Bond Softening Boosts Battery Voltage

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The strong attractive interaction between the nucleophilic center of the solvent and the electrophilic region of the covalently bonded cathode fragment triggers charge transfer. This results in the electron population in the antibonding orbital of the covalent bond, leading to bond weakening and elongation, and consequently increasing the cathode ...

4D Frequency Analysis of Computational Cameras for Depth of Field Extension [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Depth of field (DOF), the range of scene depths that appear sharp in a photograph, poses a fundamental tradeoff in photography---wide apertures are important to reduce imaging noise, but they also increase defocus blur.

In Situ Formation of an In–Zn Interface Layer Enables Aqueous Zinc‐Ions Batteries with High Capacity Retention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates an indium zinc oxide (IZO)‐modified separator applied to aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs), which in situ generates an In–Zn interface layer to stabilize the separator/anode region during the cycling process. The In–Zn interface layer provides richer nucleation sites for Zn2+ and suppresses side reactions.

Survey of channel estimation method in delay-Doppler domain for OTFS

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2022
In order to provide reliable communication service for high-mobility scenarios, 6G can consider DD (delay-Doppler) domain based OTFS (orthogonal time frequency space) as its modulation scheme.By mapping the transmitted symbols onto DD domain and ...

Development and Evaluation of Amorphous Oral Thin Films Using Solvent-Free Processes: Comparison between 3D Printing and Hot-Melt Extrusion Technologies

open access: yesPharmaceutics, 2021
Conventional oral dosage forms may not always be optimal especially for those patients suffering from dysphasia or difficulty swallowing. Development of suitable oral thin films (OTFs), therefore, can be an excellent alternative to conventional dosage ...
