Nucleotide sequence of the gene coding forClostridium baratitype F neurotoxin: Comparison with other clostridial neurotoxins [PDF]
The neurotoxin gene from Clostridium barati ATCC43756 was cloned as a series of overlapping polymerase chain reaction (PCR) generated fragments using primers designed to conserve toxin sequences previously published. The toxin gene has an open reading frame (ORF) of 1268 amino acids giving a calculated molecular mass of 141,049 Da.

Evaluation of Low Density Parity Check Codes Over Various Channel Types [PDF]
Low density parity check (LDPC) codes are one of the best error correcting codes in today’s coding world and are known to approach the Shannon limit. As with all other channel coding schemes, LDPC codes add redundancy to the uncoded input data to make it

Synthesis of plasmid-coded heat-labile enterotoxin in wild-type and hypertoxinogenic strains of Escherichia coli and in other genera of Enterobacteriaceae [PDF]
The effect of host determinants on expression of plasmid-coded heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) was examined. A collection of LT plasmids was introduced into isogenic strains of Escherichia coli K-12 strains containing the wild type or hypertoxinogenic (htx-2) allele.

Syndrome spectrums of error orbits in RS-codes
This article is devoted to the research of the properties of syndromes of errors in Reed-Solomon codes. RS-codes are built on non-binary alphabets. So, unlike BCH-codes, RS-codes contain an extremely large variety of correctable errors.

Classes of Ulm type and coding rank-homogeneous trees in other structures
AbstractThe first main result isolates some conditions which fail for the class of graphs and hold for the class of Abelianp-groups, the class of Abelian torsion groups, and the special class of “rank-homogeneous” trees. We consider these conditions as a possible definition of what it means for a class of structures to have “Ulm type”.
