PCSK9 upregulation in cerebrovascular endothelial cells and microglia destabilizes the Aβ transporter LRP1, while TRIB3‐associated autophagy blockade further limits intracellular Aβ degradation. A RAP‐modified tea‐polyphenol nanoparticle co‐delivers siPCSK9 and siTRIB3 to restore LRP1‐mediated Aβ efflux and autophagy‐dependent degradation, reducing Aβ ...

Drug Repurposing for Treating NCOR‐Related Intellectual Disability
An autism‐associated NCOR1 heterozygous mutation upregulates NRGs and activates NRG backward signaling in hypothalamic GABAergic neurons in mouse models, leading to Gabra2 downregulation and cognitive deficits, which can be therapeutically targeted by repurposing FDA‐approved drugs.

Efficacy of tolterodine in children with overactive bladder.
Aim: Tolterodine is an anticholinergic drug used for the treatment of overactive bladder. We evaluated the effects of tolterodine on clinical symptoms and compared its efficacy with that of oxybutynin in terms of bladder capacity, bladder wall thickness,

Early‐life manganese exposure induces behavioral deficits and aberrant hippocampal synaptic remodeling by enhancing microglial phagocytosis in young adult male mice. Mechanistically, manganese promotes Yin Yang 1 (YY1)/triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) signaling through enhanced HIF1α‐mediated transcription and suppressed SMURF2 ...

Darifenacin in a real-world practice: results of a 6-month phase IV. trial
Introduction: Patients often stop treatment and report adverse events when treated with drugs for overactive bladder (OAB). Which predictors influence compliance and treatment success was studied for M3 selective anticholinergic darifenacin in a real ...

Lactate accumulation after SCI promotes H4K12la lactylation, which upregulates NDUFS7, triggering mitochondrial RET and ROS, enforcing pro‐inflammatory microglial polarization. MM@mPTC, a biomimetic nanotherapeutic, degrades LDHA in activated microglia, reducing H4K12la lactylation and blocking RET, thus curbing ROS, fostering a reparative phenotype ...

Overactive bladder: epidemiology and social impact
Purpose of review Overactive bladder epidemiology is a rapidly evolving field. The new terminology of lower urinary tract function, introduced in 2002, modified-the definitions of all four components of overactive bladder.

Under pathological stimulation, NCOA4 in macrophages interacts with STAT1 to promote CH25H transcription. The subsequent increase in 25‐HC production activates macrophages, triggers inflammatory responses and ferroptosis, and accelerates the progression of AAA.

Microglial PBRM1 deficiency drives excessive hippocampal neurogenesis by enhancing CCL5–CCR1/5 signaling, leading to autism‐like behaviors. A pro‐inflammatory IL1α+/TNFα+ microglial subset is identified as a key cellular contributor to this process. PBRM1 represses Ccl5 expression at the transcriptional level.
