Evaluation of innovative sprayed-concrete-lined tunnelling [PDF]
The front-shunt tunnel was the first tunnel of the Terminal 5 project at Heathrow to be constructed, and was the first section of sprayed-concrete-lined (SCL) tunnel to be constructed using the method known as LaserShell.

Seismic Response and Damage Analysis of Large Underground Frame Structures without Overburden
With the development of the Chinese economy and society, the height and density of urban buildings are increasing, and large underground transportation hubs have been constructed in many places to alleviate the pressure of transportation. Commercial buildings are usually developed above the large underground transportation hubs, so the underground ...

We developed a novel copper‐doped aluminum nano‐adjuvant (CuNA) to overcome cytarabine resistance in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). CuNA effectively sensitizes drug‐resistant AML cells to cytarabine by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibiting HMGCR/GPX4 to amplify ferroptosis.

A thermo‐responsive poly(2‐oxazoline)‐based injectable formulation is developed to modulate intraocular pressure (IOP) in both normal and hypotonic eyes. By adjusting the PEG content, the aggregation behavior is finely tuned, enabling IOP elevation without long‐term deposition.

Ge Detectors and $0\nu\beta\beta$: The Search for Double Beta Decay with Germanium Detectors: Past, Present and Future [PDF]
High Purity Germanium Detectors have excellent energy resolution; the best among the technologies used in double beta decay. Since neutrino-less double beta decay hinges on the search for a rare peak upon a background continuum, this strength has enabled

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...
