On the Errors at Grid Interface of Overset Grid Method in a Moving Shock-Wave Problem.
The overset grid method has been successfully applied to a wide range of steady-flow computations with sufficient accuracy. For unsteady compressible flows, however, there exist serious problems at the grid interface of the overset grid due to nonconservation of flow variables caused by an inherent interpolation procedure.

Orientational Effects in the Low Pair Continuum of Aluminium
ABSTRACT We compare the predictions of the dynamic structure factor (DSF) of ambient polycrystalline aluminium from time‐dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) in the pair continuum regime to recent ultrahigh resolution x‐ray Thomson scattering measurements, collected at the European XFEL.

We present DFVF-overset (Direct Flux via Virtual Faces), a conservative overset scheme based on a general form of the finite volume method, originally derived for a meshless method, which intrinsically supports overlapping cells.

Improved Conservative Scheme for Lenard‐Bernstein Collisions in Gyrokinetic Turbulence Simulations
ABSTRACT Turbulence in the edge and scrape‐off layer regions plays a critical role for the performance of future magnetic confinement fusion power plants. Gyrokinetic simulations allow studying this regime with high fidelity. A key aspect in these regions is the high concentration of impurities, which can radiate energy, leading to significant losses ...

Generative Models in Inorganic Crystals Discovery and Inverse Design
Generative inverse‐design samples from the vast inorganic crystal design space by starting from target properties such as band gap, stability, and ion transport. This Review examines the representations, generative models, and validation workflows needed to translate candidate structures into stable, potentially synthesizable materials for applications

A nanoscale ZrB2/LiCl network encapsulated LiBH4 solid electrolyte was prepared by mechanically reacting LiBH4 with ZrCl4. Such a composite solid electrolyte exhibits fast ionic conduction and high critical current density. More importantly, the resultant solid electrolyte enables unprecedented cyclability of Li|LiNbO3@LiCoO2 and Li|TiS2 full cells at ...

Volatility Formation in Dairy Futures: Fundamentals, Public Information, and Processing Ambiguity
ABSTRACT Class III milk futures cash‐settle to an administered price based on weekly component prices, creating a predictable within‐month flow of settlement‐relevant information. This paper studies drivers of cross‐month variation in realized volatility in this formula‐settled market.
