Beauveria bassiana associated with a novel biomimetic hydrogel to control Aedes albopictus through lure and kill ovitraps

This study introduces a biomimetic hydrogel with Beauveria bassiana, sustaining fungal growth over 24 days. The resulting Bb/Gel system effectively combines mechanical trapping with bioinsecticide action, registering over 90% mortality in Aedes albopictus eggs and larvae.
