Abstract Background and Purpose Sphingosine‐1‐phosphate (S1P) receptor modulator (SRM) drugs suppress immune system function by disrupting lymphocyte trafficking, but SRMs are broadly immunosuppressive with on‐target liabilities. Another strategy to modulate the immune system is to block S1P transport.

The first metal complexes of 3,3'-bi-1,2,4-oxadiazole: A curiously ignored ligand [PDF]
The crystal structure of 3,3'-bi-1,2,4-oxadiazole (1) reveals a planar centrosymmetric structure for this molecule in the solid state. It forms a mononuclear complex (3) with palladium(II) chloride, which is shown by X-ray crystallography to contain the ...

Through DFT prediction, a highly selective probe, phoxrodam, was identified and successfully used to detect and bioimage the distribution of SA in the roots of wheat seedlings under salt stress. Summary Abiotic stress severely hinders plant growth and development, resulting in a considerable reduction in crop yields.

Core‐Only Calamitic Liquid Crystals: Molecular Design and Optoelectronic Properties
Side‐chain free or core only rod‐shaped liquid crystals are a rarely studied curiosity. Reported here is a set of molecular design criteria for the preparation of core only conjugated calamitic liquid crystals. Their conjugated polyaromatic structures give them electronic properties required for their use as organic semiconductor and strong ...
