SummaryRepresentative cultures of many bacterial genera were grown in culture media of known composition free of p-aminobenzoic acid. Culture filtrates and hydrolized whole cultures were assayed for p-aminobenzoic acid content employing the Acetobacter suboxydans microbiological method.
