1,3-Bis(2-thienylmethyl)-4,5-dihydroimidazolium trichlorido(η6-p-cymene)ruthenate(II)

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2009
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C13H15N2S2)[RuCl3(C10H14)], contains a 1,3-(2-thienylmethyl)-4,5-dihydroimidazolium cation and a trichlorido(η6-p-cymene)ruthenate(II) anion. The thiophene rings of the cation are disordered by an 180°

Research on the Mechanism of Natural Products Acting on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
This figure illustrates that approximately 80 natural compounds exert therapeutic effects against chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by targeting pathological mechanisms such as airway inflammation, oxidative stress, airway remodeling, mucus hypersecretion, emphysema, protease–antiprotease imbalance, apoptosis, and autophagy.

Two New Diterpene Phenols from

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2010
Two new p -cymene based diphenols ( 1-2 ) were isolated from the heartwood of Calocedrus decurrans. Structures were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR techniques and HRMS. Libocedroquinone ( 3 ) was also isolated as a natural product for the first time.

Comparison of Different Fruit Shapes of Lanxangia tsaoko: Differences and Relevance of Phenotypes, Antioxidant Activities, and Physicochemical Information

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
This study selected three fruit types of LT, including PCS, ES, and LFS. We examined the phenotypes and physicochemical components, volatile substances, non‐volatile substances, and FT‐NIRS characteristics of the three fruit types. Based on FT‐NIRS, an SVM model was established for the rapid identification of LT fruit types.

Evaluation of Enzyme Inhibition and Kinetic Profiles of Origanum Essential Oils on Metabolic and Central Nervous System Targets

open access: yesNatural Sciences, Volume 6, Issue 3, July 2026.
The essential oils of three Origanum species were chemically characterized and evaluated for their antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activities. The different compositions confer selective bioactivities: O. vulgare exhibits good antioxidant and α‐glucosidase inhibitory activity, O. majorana shows promising tyrosinase inhibition, and O.

Release studies of thymol and p-cymene from polylactide microcapsules

open access: yes, 2012
The objective of this work is to access the release behavior of thymol and p-cymene used as model core materials with PLA microcapsules. The microcapsules were obtained by a coacervation process developed in a previous work and present a spherical shape ...

Treatment of cotton with plant growth‐promoting rhizobacteria consortium alters host location and oviposition of Spodoptera exigua

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 7123-7136, July 2026.
Two plant‐growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) consortia (AU8 and TX1) induced a deterrence of host plant location and oviposition behavior of Spodoptera exigua females in both susceptible and resistant cotton plants. Most of the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) increased in PGPR‐treated plants compared to untreated plants. # indicates treatments not

Tailored RuNi heterobimetallic complexes as dual catalysts for ROMP of norbornene and ethylene oligomerization

open access: yesResults in Chemistry
A series of four novel RuL-NiL heterobimetallic complexes was synthesized via the in-situ condensation of primary amine Ru precursors with salicylaldehyde or 3-tert-butylsalicylaldehyde, generating an N,O-chelated iminic bridge that links the two metal ...
