Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Gradient $L^q$ theory for a class of non-diagonal nonlinear elliptic systems
We consider a class of nonlinear non-diagonal elliptic systems with $p$-growth and establish the $L^q$-integrability for all $q\in [p,p+2]$ of any weak solution provided the corresponding right hand side belongs to the corresponding Lebesgue space and ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Steklov problems for the p−Laplace operator involving Lq-norm
In this paper, we are concerned with the study of the spectrum for the nonlinear Steklov problem of the form {Δpu=|u|p-2uin Ω,|∇u|p-2∂u∂v=λ‖u‖q,∂Ωp-q|u|q-2uon ∂Ω,\left\{ {\matrix{{{\Delta _p}u = {{\left| u \right|}^{p - 2}}u} \hfill & {{\rm{in}}\,\Omega ,

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...

Two Types of Solutions to a Class of (p,q)-Laplacian Systems with Critical Sobolev Exponents in RN
We focus on the following elliptic system with critical Sobolev exponents: -div∇up-2∇u+m(x)up-2u=λup⁎-2u+(1/η)Gu(u,v), x∈RN; -div∇vq-2∇v+n(x)vq-2v=μvq⁎-2v+(1/η)Gv(u,v), x∈RN; u(x)>0,v(x)>0, x∈RN, where μ,λ>0 ...

Noncritical String Field Theory for 2d Quantum Gravity Coupled to (p, q)-Conformal Fields [PDF]
We propose a noncritical string field theory for 2d quantum gravity coupled to (p, q) conformal fields. The Hamiltonian is described by the generators of the Wp algebra, and the Schwinger–Dyson equation is equivalent to a vacuum condition imposed on the generators of Wp algebra.

Notes on the algebraic curves in (p,q) minimal string theory
Loop amplitudes in (p,q) minimal string theory are studied in terms of the continuum string field theory based on the free fermion realization of the KP hierarchy.
