Kif1c regulates osteoclastic bone resorption as a downstream molecule of p130Cas
Cell Biochemistry and Function, 2019Podosome formation in osteoclasts is an important initial step in osteoclastic bone resorption. Mice lacking c‐Src (c‐Src−/−) exhibited osteopetrosis due to a lack of podosome formation in osteoclasts. We previously identified p130Cas (Crk‐associated substrate [Cas]) as one of c‐Src downstream molecule and osteoclast‐specific p130Cas‐deficient ...

CD2AP and p130Cas localize to different F-actin structures in podocytes
American Journal of Physiology-Renal Physiology, 2001Mice lacking the 80-kDa CD2-associated protein (CD2AP) develop progressive renal failure that starts soon after birth with proteinuria and foot process effacement by unknown mechanisms. CD2AP has been identified and cloned independently by virtue of its interaction with the T cell protein CD2 and with the docking protein p130Cas.

Molecular Mechanism of BCAR3-p130Cas in Breast Cancer
2013Abstract : Anti-estrogen drugs such as tamoxifen have become widely used to treat patients with estrogen-receptor positive tumors. Although effective in many cases, significant proportions of estrogen-receptor positive tumors are intrinsically unresponsive to anti-estrogens or have acquired resistance over time.

Propojení signalizace PKN3 a p130Cas/BCAR1
2016Both p130Cas and PKN3 are important regulators of cellular signaling deregulation of which leads to malignant behavior of cancer cells. Recently we have found that SH3 domain of p130Cas mediates interaction with proline rich region of PKN3 suggesting their possible cooperation in regulation of these processes.

[p130Cas-Mediated Regulation of Mechanical Functions of Cells.]
Clinical calcium, 2017It is 10 years since we reported Cas as a cell mechano-sensor that converts stretching force to a biochemical signal. While we have been looking into the mechanism of how Cas molecules are extended, it appears that the source of stretching force does not derive from actomyosin contraction, but originates from actin polymerization.

Úloha proteinu p130CAS v integrinové signalizaci
2014Focal adhesions are important subcellular structures that are composed of many signaling and scaffolding proteins. They serve not only for anchoring the cell to the substratum but they are also important signaling centers that regulate various cellular behavior such as migration, invasiveness, proliferation and survival.

The p130cas Signaling Axis: Role in Therapeutic Resistance
2017Breast cancer continues to be one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers, and the second largest source of cancer death in women in the United States. Despite advances in breast cancer research, there have only been modest improvements in breast cancer specific mortality or in overall survival.
