The P2X receptor antagonist PPADS possesses activity against members of the signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) family of transcription factors, in particular STAT4, STAT5a, and STAT5b. PPADS protects STAT4 and STAT5a/STAT5b from thermal degradation in cell lysates to a higher extent than STAT3.

Strong subadditivity and the covariant holographic entanglement entropy formula
Headrick and Takayanagi showed that the Ryu-Takayanagi holographic entanglement entropy formula generally obeys the strong subadditivity (SSA) inequality, a fundamental property of entropy.

Adrenergic Control of P2Y6 Receptor‐Dependent Phagocytosis in Rodent and Human Microglia
Adrenergic signaling through ADRB2 modulates phagocytosis in microglia. Crosstalk between ADRB2 and P2Y6 receptors conserved in rodent and human microglia. ADRB2 activation inhibits both P2Y6 function and gene expression. ABSTRACT Microglia, the resident immune cells of the central nervous system (CNS), are in constant survey of their environment ...

Background and purpose Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is considered to be a leading cause of mortality and disability worldwide. After TBI, innate immunity is rapidly activated in response to damage‐associated molecular patterns, such as ATP release, recognised by P2X7 receptors.

AbstractBone is a dynamic organ that from the early stages of development defines an organism's form and function and responds to the external environment, a process that continues as the organism grows and persists even once maturity is reached. The formation, growth, and integrity of bone are co‐ordinated and maintained throughout life via the finely

Non-Hermitian oscillators with $T_{d}$ symmetry [PDF]
We analyse some PT-symmetric oscillators with $T_{d}$ symmetry that depend on a potential parameter $g$. We calculate the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for each irreducible representation and for a range of values of $g$.

This study is a systematic analysis of selected research articles about power-to-X (P2X)-related processes. The relevance of this resides in the fact that most of the world’s energy is produced using fossil fuels, which has led to a huge amount of ...
