The JAK/STAT Pathway in Cancer: From Molecular Mechanisms to Clinical Applications

open access: yesMedComm – Oncology, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
Dysregulated JAK/STAT signaling and related genetic mutations are strongly associated with cancer progression, including promoting tumor proliferation, suppressing apoptosis, inducing immune suppression, participating in drug resistance. Based on the function of the JAK/STAT pathway in disease pathogenesis, numerous agents targeting the JAK/STAT ...

Lithospermic Acid Improves Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiomyopathy Through Sirtuin‐3‐Mediated Deacetylation of p53

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 965-985, March 2026.
Lithospermic acid (LA) inactivates the p53 signaling pathway via directly targeting SIRT3, thereby alleviating oxidative stress and abnormal apoptosis in the progression of doxorubicin (Dox)‐induced cardiomyocytes. ABSTRACT Doxorubicin (Dox)‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) is characterized by significant myocardial damage that can progress to dilated ...

Triboelectric Capacitance Supplementation in Energy Storage Composites with Functionalized Carbon Fiber Electrodes

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
Triboelectric contact electrification evaluation between structural supercapacitor layers using surface‐functionalized carbon fiber electrodes. Electrospun nanofiber separators can aid in capacitance augmentation by leveraging the contact electrification effect of dissimilar materials.

KAT2A Deficiency Suppresses Lung Cancer Progression by Downregulating MYC Through Decreasing MYC Succinylation

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 3, Page 631-643, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Succinylation has been shown to promote lung cancer development, but its mechanism remains incompletely understood. KAT2A, a succinyltransferase, acts as an oncogene in multiple cancers, but its role in mediating lung cancer progression is unclear.

Sensory Experience and Motor Signals Shape Auditory Processing in an Independent Manner

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 63, Issue 5, March 2026.
This study directly compares how motor and visual cues influence the amplitude of auditory‐evoked responses and how such influence changes as experience with cue‐outcome association is gained. We show that both predictor modality and experience affect the amplitude of auditory‐evoked responses in an independent manner.
