Identification of metallic objects using spectral magnetic polarizability tensor signatures: Object classification

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 123, Issue 9, Page 2076-2111, 15 May 2022., 2022
Abstract The early detection of terrorist threat objects, such as guns and knives, through improved metal detection, has the potential to reduce the number of attacks and improve public safety and security. To achieve this, there is considerable potential to use the fields applied and measured by a metal detector to discriminate between different ...

Multipolicy Robot‐Following Model Based on Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesScientific Programming, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
We propose in this paper a new approach to solve the decision problem of robot‐following. Different from the existing single policy model, we propose a multipolicy model, which can change the following policy in time according to the scene. The value of this paper is to obtain a multipolicy robot‐following model by the self‐learning method, which is ...

Molecular Mechanisms of P311 on White Adipogenesis

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, 2020
Background The obesity epidemic is a constant and chronic detriment to US as well as global health outcomes. Two‐thirds of the US population is either overweight or obese, and obesity can be linked to many chronic diseases, including diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, stroke and ...

P311 Modulates Adipocyte Development

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, 2018
Adipogenesis is a complex process of adipocytes formed from progenitor cells that involves changes in gene expression, cell morphology and hormone sensitivity. The differentiation of adipocytes is regulated by a well‐orchestrated network of transcriptional factors and associated cell signaling proteins responsible for adipocyte development and ...

P311 TAKOTSUBO CARDIOMYOPATHY RELATED TO MRNA SARS–COV2 VACCINE

open access: yesEuropean Heart Journal Supplements, 2022
Abstract 54–year–old woman with a family history of systemic sclerosis, with no significant cardiological history. She underwent anti–Covid vaccination in February and March 2021 with Spikevax (Moderna) and a booster dose (Spikevax) on 09/12/21. A few hours after this last administration, the patient presented with palpitations, asthenia,

P311 Deficiency Leads to Attenuated Angiogenesis in Cutaneous Wound Healing [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Physiology, 2017
P311 was identified to markedly promote cutaneous wound healing by our group. Angiogenesis plays a key role in wound healing. In this study, we sought to define the role of P311 in skin wound angiogenesis. It was noted that P311 was expressed in endothelial cells in the dermis of murine and human skin wounds.

Identification of P311 as a Potential Gene Regulating Alveolar Generation [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology, 2006
Smoking-related destructive lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and emphysema are a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The immediate cause of emphysema is the obliteration of alveoli that are key functional units of the lungs where gas exchange takes place.

Potential BSE risk posed by the use of ruminant collagen and gelatine in feed for non‐ruminant farmed animals

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 18, Issue 10, October 2020., 2020
Abstract EFSA was requested to estimate the cattle bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) risk (C‐, L‐ and H‐BSE) posed by ruminant collagen and gelatine produced from raw material fit for human consumption, or from material classified as Category 3 animal by‐products (ABP), to be used in feed intended for non‐ruminant animals, including aquaculture ...

Blood pressure homeostasis is maintained by a P311–TGF-β axis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Investigation, 2013
P311 is an 8-kDa intracellular protein that is highly conserved across species and is expressed in the nervous system as well as in vascular and visceral smooth muscle cells. P311-null (P311-/-) mice display learning and memory defects, but alterations in their vasculature have not been previously described.

Butyrate alleviates diabetic kidney disease by mediating the miR‐7a‐5p/P311/TGF‐β1 pathway

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 34, Issue 8, Page 10462-10475, August 2020., 2020
Abstract It has been reported that butyrate played an protect role in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) while the mechanism was still not clear. Transforming growth factor‐β1 (TGF‐β1) is the initial factor which triggers the profibrotic signaling cascades. P311 is an RNA‐binding protein, which could stimulate TGF‐β1 translation in several cell types.
